Can You learn to fly on a Spitfire?

In truth, yes you can. It would be like learning to drive using a F1 car and about as expensive.

Much better, and cheaper, to learn using a moderately priced training aircraft such as the “Hobbyzone Champ” (I use this for messing about in the park) and/or dual control instruction at your nearest model flying club.

There you will meet like minded people who will be only too happy to help you start in the rc flying hobby.
