Lotus T580 with Longer Booms

The Lotus T580 comes with pretty weak booms/motor arms, so I decided to make some longer ones from aluminium poles from B and Q (hardware store), which just so happen to come in 10mm diameter - the same as Lotus's low quality carbon fibre booms.

Another problem with the newer Lotus T580s is that they have an irritating high-frequency wobble or oscillation that makes them entirely useless for aerial videos, which is what I'm mainly intersted in. These types of oscillations are usually caused by over-sensitive gyros, which is normally easily cured on other multi rotor aircraft. However, Lotus have provided no means to adjust the gyros so we're all stuck with these irritating wobbles.

I've tried to make the wobbles less noticeable by extending the length of the booms I made, up to 30 cm from the standard 26 cm.

The below video shows the T580 flying in high winds with my new aluminium, longer motor arms. It copes with the blustering winds fairly well, but the annoying oscillations are still there - though they are difficult to see in the video.
