Ulleskelf is a village s few miles from Tadcaster, which is between York and Leeds. I normally only see Ulleskelf in passing on the train to Leeds, but I was driving through Cawood and saw a sign for Ulleskelf and decided to go and have a look. Just passed Ulleskelf train station, over a bridge, I found an almost empty sports field so I decided it was the perfect place to stop and have a fly around. The only other people there were a guy and a little girl playing football together, at the other end of the field. I spent most of the flight buzzing around the station and the train tracks. I was hoping a train might come by while I was flying but it didn't. I also did a kind of dive bomb fly by of myself. In some of this aerial video of Ulleskelf you can see Ferrybridge power station on the horizon. I keep finding that I've gone a lot higher than I realized when I get the video home, and can see a lot of detail I wasn't expecting. The FPV camera I watch through does not show all the details of the video you see here, so it's always quite exciting to get home and see how the aerial photography turns out. I've also figured out, I think, why some of my videos are not viewable on mobile devices - it is because some of the music tracks I've used are owned by record cmpanies who do not want them to be played on mobile phones and iPads etc for some reason. So I will try to use only public domain music from now on so more poeple can watch the videos on more platforms - even from the one at Ulleskelf. :) |
