Mikrokopter Hexa 2 FPV over Fulford

Fulford is a suburb or York and a village south of York. It is also the place where I grew up, I can see my house and all my old friends' houses in this video.

The fields where I flew from in this aerial video are where I used to play as a child, in the hedgerows and ditches.

Also in this video are both schools I went to, Fulford C of E School until I was 11, then Fulford Comprehensive School (the big one in the video) up to 16.

When I was a child Fulford Show was enormous, sometimes famous people from TV, comedians and presenters, would come to Fulford show. By the 1990s Fulford Show was all but forgotten and practically disappeared - in fact it may have gone altogether for a couple of years. However, it has seen a bit of a revival recently and is starting to look like it's old self, a nice community gathering with lots to do for family and children.

I flew this aerial video shoot using my Fatshark FPV goggles, which I must say are fantastic - a lot bettter than my Headplay goggles, and managed to pretty much get every part of Fulford in the video somewhere.

I don't go there that much these days, so making this video was a great chance for me to capture images of all my old hang-outs in a way that no one has ever seen before.

I'm steadily getting more confident with my FPV flights and will hopefully be trying to examine objects I find up close in the future.
