Gaui 330X Quadcopter York Minster and Petergate

I've been wanting to fly along some of York's bussiest streets for  while now because they are very interesting, with old architecture and many different roof shapes, but they are aways packed full of people sightseeing.

I figured the only viable time to film my aerial videos of York streets would be early in the morning in Summer when there's almost no one around. The only drawback to this plan is that I have to get up early in the morning, at say 6am, which is not that easy for me as I usually go to bed fairly late, often because I'm writing this stuff and playing around with videos I made during the day.

Well, this morning I woke up at 5:30 and could not get back to sleep again. I looked out of the window and saw it was sunny and decided today was the day to give early morning aerial videos in York a try.

It was a little breezy but the lack of tourists and other people took away all the dangers and stress from flying near the Minster and along Petergate. It was a great time for aerial photography.

I did fly pretty high near the Minster, but the building is so huge it looks like I'm not that high up. The Gaui is so small and light that I can't really go too much higher because I wouldn't be able to see it properly and might lose orientation and accidentally steer myself out of site over a rooftop.

If by some miracle I manage to get up early again I may try some filming with one of my bigger machines, which I would not normally fly in the town centre because of the people and the dangers involved.

Also in this video the camera mount was having a bit of a hissy fit, but I was too sleepy to figure out why so just left it as it was with random twitches here and there.
